Parents’ House Public Benefit Foundation (HU)

The Hungarian Parents’ House (Szülők Háza) programme is an innovative and complex support system to families, parents, children and children and young people without families. It helps parents in the processes of family establishment by social, mental as well as economic empowerment and provides early childhood development possibilities for children, with special attention to vulnerable groups.

„Do Something Good!”
We provide help and support to children and young people in care through our „Do Something Good!” charity programme. We are cooperating with 20 children’s homes in Hungary and 500 children participate in our programme.
Throughout the year, with the help of volunteer families and companies, we organise various themed programmes (summer camps, sport and cultural activities, holiday trips, health-education) for children in care. Spending time together is the most important part of these events, giving the children the opportunity to experience what it is like to live in a family. In 2020, we launched a pilot mentoring programme for the individual development of children in care.
Because every life has value!
